Nutcracker is so important to me and I love doing it. My most memorable Nutcracker was probably experience last year when I was a mouse and a snowfall. The fight scene is so much fun, and I loved being in the beautiful snow scene. I also enjoyed the after party, and hanging out backstage with the little buddy Ariella.
I super am excited that I'm Lead Chef this year and I can't wait to see what this Nutcracker season brings. I am especially looking forward to the Waltz of the Flowers, it is so pretty and graceful.
One piece of advice I would give to younger dancers is to not worry if people are progressing faster. Not every flower blooms at the same time. The most important thing is to try your best at class and always have fun. Nutcracker helps me grow, not only as dancer, but also as a person. By participating in Nutcracker I have built lifelong friendships. Nutcracker is so much fun and I can't imagine Christmas without it!
