2024 Reed Pipe, Brooke- Dancer Spotlight

montereypeninsulab

When I think back to previous nutcrackers, there has been so much joy and laughter. It's something that I look forward to all year. Although the hours of preparation are countless there is so much magic that happens as soon as you step on stage. Being surrounded by friends and peers, growing and having fun dancing is what The Nutcracker is to me.

This year I am so excited to have my roles on pointe  and maybe be an inspiration to younger dancers. I so clearly remember my second year in the nutcracker, I was a mini ballerina doll. I got to dance in front of a big sparkling tree and many older girls that I looked up to. One piece of advice I would give to a new MPBT dancer is: to work hard but really have fun!!
